We are here to help you and the honey bees! Give us a BUZZ 631*377*1943 All honey bee removals should be performed by professionals who have the knowledge and equipment to properly remove and relocate honeybees. Pest control companies will try to kill the honey bees by pumping poison into the entrance of the hive. THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. Here's why. First of all, honey bees are beneficial to the environment, and make the world amore beautiful place. They pollinate out food, and provide food and shelter to wildlife! There can be as many as 60,000 honey bees in one colony, and it takes a LOT of poison to kill that many honey bees. All the poison stays IN the structure, and that is not good for anyone. If the poison does kill the colony, left behind will be a LOT of dead honey bees, their eggs and larva, and beeswax filled with honey and pollen. You will have more problems in the future with the area now full of dead and rotting honey bees, as well as poisoned wax and fermenting honey . This poison mess will become moist and smelly and will attract other critters (flies, roaches, ants, rodents..), or more honey bees! If a new colony of honey bees moves in, they will either be killed by the leftover poison, or the cycle will repeat! It's better to remove the entire colony, ALIVE, seal up the location to be BEE PROOF, and relocate the unwanted colony to a new location. Call Bonac Bees for professional honey bee removal and relocation. We also offer honey bee proofing to your home and/or structure. |
Send Bonac Bees your pictures of honey bees and we will put them in one of our slideshows! |
